Cleveland Industrial Innovation Center Announces Strategic Alliance with Realty Corporation of America

CLEVELAND, OHIO – January 1st, 2008 – The Cleveland Industrial Innovation Center (CiiC) has formed a strategic partnership with Realty Corporation of America to promote available space for lease and attract new manufacturing businesses to the Collinwood neighborhood of Cleveland. CiiC features newly renovated, exceptional industrial space located moments from major freeways and transportation hubs, on a spacious, multi-building campus setting. Key amentities of this complex include vast open areas, overhead cranes, 18’ – 32’ ceilings and available shared docks and drive-ins.
A website that features online building layouts, detailed property information, a virtual tour and up to date news about the property is planned. "We are very excited to take advantage of the latest technology to market available space in this great facility" said Sarah Brewer, Director of Business Development for Realty Corporation of America. "With a new website featuring all of the campus's amenities and available space, prospective tenants will be able to immediately determine whether this building suits their space requirements.”

The 60 acre site has a long Cleveland history and was once the home of the Curtis Wright Aircraft Company and contained it own airfield. The main building boasts over 300,000 total square feet including 230,000 square feet of industrial space and 70,000 square feet of office space. The west building offers 160,000 square feet of primarily industrial space. This building has two docks and four drive-ins, 20' – 32' ceilings, cranes and rail service.

Cleveland Industrial Innovation Center
The Cleveland Industrial Innovation Center was conceived by local entrepreneur Dan Moore to be a center for the development of new products and processes that can be transformed into viable manufacturing businesses. Rather than branching out to distant suburbs, CiiC recruited a local workforce to work on the renovations. The site is currently the home to six commercial and manufacturing companies, and poised for expansion.
